Poly B™ Pipe Replacement – Case Study #28
Angela called us because she was experiencing a weird smell coming from here basement wall. We dispatched two plumbers to her property on Conrad Drive
in Calgary, who were at first very puzzled by what could be making the sulphur smell. Upon further investigation it was determined that there must have been an incident where her basement toilet was hit with such a force that the pipe had fractured underneath.
The solution wasn’t exactly what Angela had in mind, and involved having our plumbers remove her toilet and jack hammer out all the drainage piping connected to the toilet, our plumbers then had to cut out bad sections of the drainage and install new sections. Finally our plumbers coated the remaining abs drainage system with a thick layer of abs epoxy. After extensive testing it was determined that the problem was solved, and our team repaired the tile flooring perfectly matching, and reinstalled the toilet. The entire project including the poly b replacement took 3 days to complete.
